We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of actress Brittany Murphy
yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Once again, I apologize for the few updates we've had this week.
Your friendly neighborhood editor-in-chief (that would be me) has been
setting up a new home network system and has been prepping the website
accordingly. But we're still here!
Magic man
Harry Potter and the
Half-Blood Prince takes us one step closer to the finale of J.
K. Rowling's epic series. Our man Ed gave the terrific Blu-ray a
spin, so don't miss his review!
By the way, I participated in the community screening via BD Live for the move, hosted live by director David Yates and star Daniel Radcliff, who said that before the event, he had not seen a movie on Blu-ray, and he was quite blown away!

We've scared up a big title announcement for you today...
Did you see that?
Paranormal Activity, the low budgeted horror movie with the huge
return is making its way to DVD and Blu-ray on December 29, 2009 from
Paramount. The disc will include both the theatrical and a new
unseen and unrated version with an alternate ending. The Blu-ray
will also include a bonus digital copy disc of the theatrical version.
